Currently NLSdb contains sequences from Arabidopsis thaliana (plant), Caenorhabditis elegans (worm), Drosophila melanogaster (fly), Mus musculus (mouse), Homo sapiens (human, partial) and Saccharomyces cerevisiae (yeast).
DNA-binding This field describes whether the NLS is observed to overlap with known DNA-binding regions of proteins..
Confidence Total The number of subcellular localization annotated proteins in SWISS-PROT in which this NLS is found.
Confidence Nuclear % of localization annotated proteins which are nuclear.
