It is important to choose the right organism domain for query protein sequences.
LocTree3 predicts 18 localization classes or eukaryotic proteins, 6 classes for bacterial proteins and 3 classes for archaeal proteins.

Output |

For each protein the results consist of: (1) protein identifier as provided by the user (2) reliability score of a prediction on a 0-100 scale with 100 being the most confident prediction (3) the expected accuracy of this prediction. This estimatimation is based on the average accuracy of predictions above this score in our cross-validation (4) predicted localization class (one of 18 classes for Eukarya, 6 for Bacteria and 3 for Archaea) (5) GO terms and GO identifiers matching the predicted class; the GO terms' evidence code is set in parentheses (6) method used for the prediction.
