A long night of sciences ("Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften") will take place on the campus Garching on May 15, 2010, between 6 and 12 pm. This event is connected to the oecumenic church congress which is taking place in Munich.

Burkhard Rost will give a talk calculating life - bioinformatics deciphers the secrets of life ("Leben berechnen – Bioinformatik entschlüsselt die Geheimnisse des Lebens").
